We usually don’t have time to make a breakfast like this during the work week. Americans will make/eat a hearty breakfast like this on the weekends. Lunch is typically lighter, a sandwich, soup and salad, leftovers from dinner, etc. Some Americans don’t eat anything for breakfast, but for most of us it ranges from a pasty and coffee to yogurt with berries and granola to cold cereal with milk.
